The strength and fineness of linen fibre is well suited to the production of the highest quality technical papers.
Saneco Flax is used in the production of pulp for banknote paper, cigarette paper, high quality lightweight opaque printing papers and a number of papers and substrates which require the special physical and esthetic characteristics which can be achieved with the use of flax.
Saneco carefully selects the highest qualities of flax fibre consistent with the demands of our customers. We take particular care to provide a low shive content fibre, and target the fibre length and fineness which may be specifically required for the intended application.
All of our fibres are carefully scrutinized and the process is strictly controlled to eliminate the presence of contaminants such as plastics, rubber, metal and other foreign material and to assure the integrity of our products. Our fibre is provided in high density bales, with or without sisal cordage binding.
